What is this page about...?
Well, let's see.  Although I do have a fish (a beautiful red Betta) it's not about fish or fishing or Omega-3 fish oils.  It's about Jesus!  See Jesus is a positive influence.

Today some Christian churches act as if there are some people God doesn't want.
I disagree.  I created this page for people who are not often not welcomed by “mainstream” Christian churches.

I hope that you enjoy this website and let me know what I can add that might help you and others find hope, peace, & peace. My hope is that today, you might place your trust in Jesus.

GODSPEAK
This week's scripture reading.

MICAH 7:7-9
7 As for me, I look to the Lord for help.
I wait confidently for God to save me,
and my God will certainly hear me.

8 Do not gloat over me, my enemies!
For though I fall, I will rise again.
  Though I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be my light.

9 I will be patient as the Lord punishes
me, for I have sinned against him.
But after that, he will take up my case
and give me justice for all I have
  suffered from my enemies.
The Lord will bring me into the light,
and I will see his righteousness.
HERE'S MY 2 CENTS...
My take on what this verse means.

Micah 7:7-9 is an interesting couple of verses, isn't it?  It's starts with Micah lamenting about how bad everyone is around him. But then he remembers the things he had done that have been displeasing to the Lord and remembers that God will restore him.

It's a great reminder that we can turn to God when we are sad, lonely, frustrated, or even guilty.  If we seek him and wait patiently, he will restore us and renew us.  Often, during these time, we may feel beaten, sad, or alone.  Micah reminds us that we are not done.  He says, "Don't gloat over me."  God's not finished with me yet.

A lot of people are afraid to look at their sins.  Many people give up when they feel defeated.  But the Lord says that he will be your light.  We must seek him and confidently wait for his restoration.  He promises it will come; if we don't give up.
